japanator.com — Maker Nissin is actually giving these away in Japan: It's a mini version of their popular "Cup Noodle My Vending Machine". You pop the top, drop your cup in there, hit the button, and out comes re-hydrated deliciousness. Anyone fancy some cheese curry flavored ramen?

Nissin is giving 3,000 away by a drawing, if you collect 5 seals from the cups, and send them in on a postcard. It's 35cm/w x 42cm/t x 28cm/d. I'm sure they'd get massive sales if they actually put those outside the train stations here for all the drunk salarymen on their way home.

This would make an awesome add-on for Team Fortress 2

If it's "personal" then why do I have to pay? Who comes to collect all the money that goes in the coin slot... unless... it's *serviced*? It gets refilled by a guy with a hand truck on a regular basis? Now that would be exceedingly cool. Or is it really a clever piggy bank like the private gum ball machine?

After you live on that crap in college, is there anyone who still wants it after?
