engadget.com — The game of PC modding leapfrog now has another formidable participant, as the PC-stuffed Gameboy sure gives the Compubeaver a real run for its money. Apparently, the zany modders at the helm grabbed Via's EPIA PX10000G motherboard, a few cutting tools, a couple of LEDs, and went at it.

Buying something pre-made is easy - anyone can do that. I build radios, computers and other seemingly pointless stuff any of which can be bought. Consumer devices are getting smaller and smaller. I'm a member of a dying generation of radio enthusiasts. Soon there won't be much left for me either, but to play with an old plastic box, a micro board and a drill bit. As for WARP boards, were they available in 1998? How much did they cost back then? The reason I built the computer was... well, I said it already. Cause it was challenging and fun. Do I really need to have any more reasons?

"It would have still looked like ass, like this mod coincidentally."What a well worded comment, and so funny coincidentally.

@nottidread Thats a big 'maybe,' lol. That is absolutely foul. I once had a friend who would grow his nails long for 'blunt cutting.' I guess weed really is the spirit of ingenuity. BLARGH!
