As if the economic downturn isn't bad enough, the BBC see fit to go and "make" news. This kind of cowboy faux-reportage is typical of diversionary tactics used by the media to bury a more important story, or hide a lack of one. This surgeon, who we must emphasize had no dealings with the unfortunate lady in the report, could possibly lose his practice and livelihood because of this gung-ho "interview". I comment interview because really, it wasn't an interview. It was a sting. All the other British surgeons knew the reporter was coming, they knew they were being filmed, and what the purpose of the programe was about. On the other hand, the Belgian "interview" was underhand, deceitful, and very obviously manipulated.I am disgusted this corporation has the gall to make us pay for a license to fund this travesty.Bruce Earl Andrews RCS
