mnn.com — Gambling website PaddyPower.com placed odds on which species would be the first to go belly-up forever because of impacts from the spill. The Kemp's ridley turtle, an endangered species that migrates to along the coastline from Mexico to Florida, is seen as the most likely winner, with a $5 bet likely to bring back $9 if it's listed as extinct.

First: Before calling people stupid, try spelling "disappoint" correctly and using "your" instead of "you're" (or "youre," in your case).Second: I'm guessing it's more of a sarcastic commentary on the drastic effects of the oil leak. We wouldn't be betting on extinctions in the Gulf if the leak didn't happen in the first place.
