news.filefront.com— Microsoft has been touting the fact that the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV will include exclusive downloadable content

That doesn't make *any* sense. The two controllers are very close in design. They both set up the left analogue stick as the "navigate" stick and the right the "look" stick. This is UNIVERSAL for 3D games. And, knowing that the majority of games are becoming 3D in this nature, the Xbox 360 controller moved the left stick to a more natural position (as in neutral anthropometric position) - this reduces stress and fatigue.Really, the Xbox 360 from an ergonomic POV, is much better than the PS3 controller... it feels "natural" for a reason - it was designed that way. While the PS3 control was designed to feel like the PS1/2 controller, which, while "familiar" to some, are not good for you ergonomically. You're really kinda blowing smoke....
I replayed GTA recently on my PS2 and i actually did not feel comfortable with the dual shock.. not that it didn't work or anything but it felt weird in my hands compared to the 360 controller. Obviously people with PS3s won't have trouble adjusting since its pretty much the same..
If this is true, it will be great for people that own 360s. Im quite skeptical about the whole thing though. Vice city and San Andreas were leaps above GTA3 in features and size. To think that Rockstar would essentially make an entire game worth of level design, character design and missions for a new area of this size seems more than a bit unlikely. Would Rockstar make a practically entire new game for only half of their audience, instead of just making a sequel for both 360 users and PS3 users? Sure they will be making some DLC and im it could very well be an added suburb with a group of side-quests (maybe new jersey? lol.), but about making an entirely new city that would compare to vice city or san andreas? I sort of doubt it. Even so, with the amount of man hours it would take to make something like this i wouldn't expect to see it for quite a while, if it were to actually happen. This seems like a very convenient time for microsoft and it's partners to start this rumor. I guess we'll see what happens when it actually happens.
Sorry don't want to jump the ball and switch topics here, but what I find funny is how many gamers are just willing to purchase DLC and still to this day will not buy a single music CD cause they feel the record companies are charging too much. Not that I don't feel they should not get payed for their content, I just rather pay for it in... I don't know... maybe an expansion game, or in "Gametitle 2!" like it was done for the past generations of games before all this DLC. The only reason why they introduced it, is because the average consumer doesn't notice the content to money ratio, and in the end the larger publisher want to make some extra cash. Now that also might be because the system was sold for a cheaper price than it was worth on development cost and they want to focus all these games on the profit margins of the DLC and multiplayer costs (not all consoles included).Anyways just a thought. You can digg me down if you like, it really does not effect me at all.
Bottom line is if you actually want to play the game instead of waiting around for MS to "fix" your console so it can keep breaking until the warranty runs out and you gottta start paying 100 bux for repairs.....then you should get the PS3 version. I seriously doubt MS got exclusive rights to any DLC FOREVER.... It's probably just exclusive rights for a year or so, for that particular content. It's already been said the PS3 WILL be getting DLC, they just haven't said exactly what yet.

Yes, and thus increases the size of them greatly.

Ok, 360 and PS3 can share the Gun Pack, the Car Pack and the Clothes Pack. 360, you get City 1 and City 2.
