@ JwoeyYea, don't buy any 360 games. It may rrod. If you never use the system you never have to worry about rrod.I have a launch unit. Never rrod. My buddy had the rrod. He got it shipped out fixed and shipped back in a week and a half. Easy, no questions asked, no shipping charges. As irritating as it is to be without a console at that time, ten days is not a big deal.
1080p? Man, 1024x768 is a higher resolution than Hi-def - and that's still way below what the average PC gamer accepts. 1600x1200 with AA, anyone?Assassin's Creed had something wrong with it - and it probably wasn't due to the display resolution.
I find it funny that anyone who said they would prefer the PS3 version gets dugg down. You will enjoy the game the same amount no matter which system you play it on. 360 fanboys much??

Of course games have caused RRoD. Games use the hardware to the max, increasing heat, increasing the chance of RRoD.

Please tell me how to turn off these alleged "HD settings" for the game.

I do to. That being said, now that it's 'mainstream' it just doesn't have the same appeal any more.
