Very interesting... it looks like 3rd party controllers in combination with regular firmware updates can increase the performance to an unexpected level... it is a great time to follow SSD industry, the advances there make the storage industry exciting again. Just like 14 years ago with the birth of accelerated 3D, now storage industry is no longer being boring. Good review.

FINALLY!!! A clear, concise, funny and well written review. Wit, humor and whimsy being employed to discuss what is usually a dull-as-hell subject. As I am in the process of building a new computer, the ssd is one of the major components that I have been contemplating and more to the point, which one? Now after reading this review, I think I am ready to "bite the bullet" and get the Falcon. While not cheap, I think it is just the thing to make the new system SCREAM!!! Many thanks for a great review without all the minutia that usually comes with them!
