politico.com — “I don’t know if we’ve ever had an opponent who is so disliked by Republicans as Al Franken,” said MN GOP Party Chair Ron Carey, who cautioned that Coleman’s challenge could still turn the results back his way. “It’s one thing to lose to an honorable opponent, but Al Franken is not considered an honorable opponent by Minnesota Republicans."

@taoDid i say he was the most liberal?I wouldn't do that without pointing to his voting record... or the bills he's sponsored. But once again the new DNC trend of sending up people with absolutely no government experience prohibits me from doing so. If you want to argue he's not "very liberal" knock yourself out. I don't like extremists - on either branch.

This is looking pretty bad. He has already been the enemy of comedy for years.

If you believe in the neocon trotskyite agenda, you are a Rhino. There is already a big government party, they call themselves democratic, but in truth they have many words to describe themselves. Liberal, socialist, progressive, and now neolib. The neolibs invade other countries and turn them into prison camps, but they do it "progressively" while complaining how badly you neocons did it.

The Republicans have never had a problem keeping their people marching lockstep. If they want to focus on Frankin -- great! He's a new senator with little influence. I think he will enjoy the attention. The real problem is that the natural tendency for the majority to balkanize. I'm especially worried about Pelosi, the stealth Bush/Republican. It's really a question of balance between her and Obama. She will demand constant bribery and preening.

The Democratic party is fast becoming a joke... with no punchline.

This compared to the unbiased Florida 2000 team of Bush's brother and the hyper-partisan Katherine Harris running the election recount.

That's only because the exam entails answering the question, "paper or plastic?"

Really? You couldn't even answer that question? You are even dimmer than I thought.
