gigaom.com— There's a human voice behind GOOG-411's "bippedy-bippedy-bippedy" - check out how he made that sound, and how complicated it was to come up with.

GOOG-411 is absolutely horrible in my area. It's nice that it's free, but when it only gives me half of the street address, it's really not helping me determine if it's close to me.
This sound is right up there with the Segway. It will surely change the world. [yawn]Easily the most vapid google fanboy article I've seen. The actual sound sounded more like a placeholder some bored developer put in.

International digger? So, as long as you're not american, you're international?? Nice. Btw, I'm international myself.

For the purposes of this story and all the US politics stories, yes.

The dumbest sound I've ever heard. What's fascinating is that you clowns are fascinated by it.
