Maybe we really don't need 3.47GB of space for e-mail... maybe we don't really need 2GB... I don't even use 100MB of my gmail. But I'm not a fool who would say things along the lines of "640k ought to be enough for anybody", so I think that, considering how much the tech world changes in 5 years, I think it's safe to say something will have changed in gmail and we'll see far more than 3.47GB for our inboxes.
@elnerdo "Yeah, but they also give you.. you know, cable internet."Thank you Captain Obvious. I actually thought about adding that in their but I didn't think anyone was that stupid not to realize my point. Silly me.Douche...
Every time I think I'm making progress towards using more disk space on my gmail account, they go and increase the limit. :) Google is setting the standard for Web-based email. Keep going, Google.
@magnus and miraqBut htmlspecialchars($comment) or htmlentities($comment) should take care of special characters in comment text and still display them. That would be nice.
Well, make a retroactive filter find all your attachments and put them under one label. You can then delete the ones you don't need. All the text stuff is probably pretty small (Unless you've been sharing e-books you copy and pasted), so go for the attachments.

They're called filters. And when you archive stuff you can still search it.
