It looks cool, but my desktop is too old to play it. And I've decided to move into console gaming (so that I don't have to upgrade so often). If they make a PS3 version, I'll get it.
This isn't a good MMO for people who don't like to read. I have friends who play wow who boast about never bothering to read quest text. LOTRO is very story driven. the individual quests, quest chains and epic quest series are VERY story driven. If you don't like reading your missing out on a huge part of the game.
Please! It's pretty much GoY on every list. It's NOT going to be surprise when and where ever LotRO picks up all the big prizes.This is just a little early pre-cursor. LotRO has only averaged about 9.9 out of 10 on EVERY gaming site, mag and forum.Why argue, LotRO is a mortal-lock on GoY.
It may be for YOUR style of game playing but it's nothing innovative or NEW compared to LotRO... It's the 1st game to dice up the dumber than mud WoW crowd and bring those with a few brain-cells to a more intelligent game. They're very comfortable in Middle Earth since they are using the familiar interface Blizzard STOLE years ago from Turbine. In Middle earth you won't be subjected to insults from 1337 h4XX045 if you're new to gaming.Those ass-clowns will be ejected from the game if the are rude to you or make fun of you just because you are trying to learn the game.
WoW is for people with crappy computers, NO previous gaming experience, skills less than my cats and no doubt most of them can't read and are too dumb to even find their way to LotRO.That's a GOOD thing. LotRO is for real gamers! WoW is for Kindergarten.

Oh yeah, Turbine.Your stupid and dumbed down for WoW-morons Interface is a TOTAL ripoff of Turbines old interface. No they didn't make it like WoW, they just used what THEY created before Blizzard stole it!

OMG thank you ... .Not only does LotRO do it much better... Turbine created it in the 1st place and Blizzard ripped it off from Turbine!
