I hope Ziff Davis restarts the old network even prior to TechTV (G4/Comcast will probably never give the TechTV name rights up). They should try to do what they did with DL.tv, online.
Isnt this nice, people of all religions, races, and politcal affiliations can get together on digg for one thing; The pleasure of watchng G4 go down like the Hindenburg.
lol I didn't realize they were being serious when ever they said all 9 viewers. At least I didn't think they had facts to support it. I still watch x-play and don't think I will ever stop. Unless they get rid of Adam and Morgan, then ill be done. I still laugh tho when my tivo says there are 115 upcoming episodes. HTF is that possible?I still record AOTS but have not watched it in over a month. I didn't know Sarah and Brendon left till a week after.I also used to get it from comcast as digital cable not basic. Moved and now have direct TV and its still not on the basic plan. I'm not saying the station is good just that they might have fudged the facts. Icons is coming back. But I'm just telling you so you don't get excited and decide to watch. It's no longer gaming icons its whoever the f**k they feel like putting on icons. Also when they canceled the original one they got rid of the writing staff i think.
Let's see here:- Killed off "The Screen Savers"- Attempted to MTV-ify a network aimed at geeks, who just want the tech- Somehow managed to make "Star Trek" un-watchable by its own fans by adding IRC chat, a "Spock Market" and ticker to the show, leaving the actual episode taking up less than half the screen- Paid a boatload of money for rebroadcast rights to "The Man Show", rivaling E!'s rebroadcast purchase of "The Simple Life" for stupidest acquisition everBoy, who'd have guessed that they'd be doing this badly?I really like the idea of some wealthy geek buying the network and actually catering to its audience. TechTV was doing that and could have become a real destination if given a few more years and a few good decisions.
One of you freaks needs to build a page that links all the podcasts together.. leo,kevin,patrick,tommy tel,tina,laurado it in Iframes or what ever it takes... make it kinda like a tv-guide...... well kinda like a tech tv-guide ;).and digg it!

So how long have you been a g4tv message board mod. Really you sound like how the mods react to me when ever i express any displeasure towards the channel or the programming
