You are free to use any of them.It's like saying that Slackware == KDE, even though it includes Xfce, Fluxbox etc in the default install and you are free to use it with Gnome if you wish. Or that your TV == channel 2 because that is the one it was tuned on when it left the factory, even though it has the ability to use any channel you wish.
