The product does indeed exist. It is a very late beta, so it is relatively mature and stable. You can download the server and client for free at www.unison.com/download
I like that the Linux folks and the Exchange fanboys are firing shots back and forth and all, but my question is: where can I get one of those German cave women?
Kerio Mailserver has it all: activesync, iPhone, BlackBerry, CalDAV, Outlook, full and native Entourage support, Ajax web mail, AD/OD/internal,anti-spam that's just as effective as a Barracuda box, email archiving and server backup.

i prefer http://www.hyperoffice.com. it is operable across Mac, PC and mobile devices. and does not require any software or hardware like exchange. costs a whole lot less too!

Um, that's not the case. I'm using native, BES Blackberry sync with Zimbra host http://www.01.com right now, with my world edition.
