When Rick and his pals get a bailout, nobody complains. When regular Americans get one, it's the end of the world.

Lets examine the public record, shall we? Does the evidence support your contention that Digg rightists aren't openly worshipping Santelli as a libertarian messiah? Here's a random sample of comments from rightist diggers:"Rick Santelli should have his own show." "[Santelli is] One of the few guys, time and time again leading the argument against government intervention.""Rick - My new Hero""I'm amazed that a reporter actually started thinking instead of just drinking the cool-aid""It seems pretty logical that people who use the markets to make a living should understand the markets better than any other group of people.""Brilliant. Love that guy."If you "get something wrong," dead wrong, and that something is a subject you're paid to be an expert on, and you're caught being dead wrong on your area of expertise, on national television, days before the spectacular market crash which you said would never happen (thereby potentially causing those who take your financial advice to lose millions of dollars)...this doesn't mean you'll never be right again, it means intelligent people will look at your track record and conclude that your opinion isn't worth jack s**t.

I dugg you up swrosmore. Maybe people do think this guy is a genius. I don't. But if you discredit everyone who said the economy was healthy in September than not many would be left! I simply agree with his sentiment now, I've never held talking heads in any high regard. Their job is to look good on camera and to entertain!

Haha here's another one from the article on the front page right now:"The more I listen to Rick Santelli, the more I want him to run for President. But alas, he knows he's too good for that job."
