The only reason anyone could take offence is because he or she harbours a secret satisfaction for reading something which he or she feels differentiates from the common man, and what I said is in denial of that. People tend to react in this way when petty self-conceits are attacked.
The only time a corporation does something good is when it's good for their bottom line. Corporations exist for the sole purpose of making money and the big ones have a ton of power. I am all for self-serving corporations serving my interest.
