torrentfreak.com — Despite plenty of protests, the French Parliament passed a controversial new law last week that will see alleged copyright infringers disconnected from the Internet. Now, a new survey reveals that 60% of French Internet users are against the so-called HADOPI law. 69% say they believe it will fail.

So because 69% of people responding to a survey (possible response bias) think this law will fail, THAT is enough proof to say the law is "doomed" to fail. Give me a break. If the RIAA gives the French government enough money, that law isn't going anywhere. This "article" is wishful thinking, pure and simple.

Just vote out any politician that tries to start another referendum on the issue. I think after having various politicians turfed to the curb on that issue alone then maybe they will start getting the hint.

That's true. And the simple fact that nobody gives a s**t about it, means that it should be abollished. Our governments should listen to us and do what we tell them to do. We want these stupid copyright laws scapped and the labels crushed, hence, f**k the RIAA.
