Get software that automatically converts from FLAC to a ipod compatible format, most ipod software should do this already. Ideally having a player that supports open standards is better but not everyone can afford to go out and buy another player in the name of freedom.
Yea, I have tried that before, but was not satisfied with it. If the tracks were short or started quickly after the last track, it would not recognize it as a new track and would put two tracks as a single track. It also had a bad habit of cutting the track short by about 10 - 15 seconds, which would require editing each and every track, annoying and a big time waster.I appreciate the suggestion though. As you said, .pls are indeed hard to rip. I've been looking for a solid ripper for a few years now, but nothing does the job correctly.

I don't know if it's useless, but yeah, the "song" needs to be on youtube. Hence the quality leaves a lot to be desired.Other sites that do similar: http://skreemr.com/ and http://www.franceradio.net/

How many flac's can you store on a portable media player? Probably less than the number of mp3's or ogg's you can store.
