Always wanted to check out this show, just never got to it. Well, it is a good excuse to test out getting a video off of iTunes.

Seriously.. dude.. the Babylon 5 plot is f**king perfect. The story arc is so well thought out every episode is connected to every other one. Battlestar owes alot to Babylon 5 so does Lost probably for how crazy the minor details get. And me being relativley young and watching it along time after it aired, still managed to get over the 1994 special effects in season 1 and thats all it takes.. your hooked.Either way not worth a debate between shows they were made 10 years apart, but Babylon 5 is definatley worth checking out if you have some spare bandwidth or dollars for the dvd sets.

Is this the same one that NBC showed a few weeks ago on broadcast? It was in HDTV and it was Laura Roslin who narrated it.

BSG has higher production values and often better acting and cinematography than B5, but for hard sci-fi story-telling, nothing beats B5. I like BSG and all, but there's just too much drama and not enough sci-fi for me. They don't even try to inject some real science or futurism into it. It's like they shy away from anything too sci-fi, to appeal to the non-geek mainstream audience. Firefly was the same way, except not nearly as interesting. BTW, the Korean girl on BSG is gorgeous, but IMO, the Korean girl on Enterprise was even hotter. Loved that episode where this alien guy tried to make her his slave and had her parading around in lingerie. :)

I live in the US and it still says invalid country. I checked my profile to make sure it's correct and everything looks correct. Unless New York became a separate sovereign nation without my knowledge.
