I'd use the software if the layout was more good looking.

It's called sarcasm almostgeek. Unless you are playing the disgruntled geek who knows everything and gets mad when noobs make unholy statements. If that be so, please carry on.

Keying is decent using DV. I've pulled some OK keys out from DV footage using FCP's and After Effects built in keayers. The real problem areas are thin wisps of hair, where there are quite a bit of compression artifacts in the image. 4:4:4 is probably be the best you use for video when it comes to keying. 4:2:2 works better as well, but still can cause some issues with the key. Of course, nothing beats film.

Forgot to add: That is one of the *worst* UI's I've ever seen in my life.

I downloaded this and they don't use comic sans for the UI. I think that the screenshots were taken from someone who set theirs up like that. So far it looks promising--especially for Alpha stage software. I'd really be interested to see where it goes in beata or even a 1.0 release. It reminds me a lot of After Effects. This could be the Gimp for After Effects.

Hi. Yea, I'm new at this video editing stuff. We had to do a history prject in my history class for a competition and my sister and I chose to create a documentary for our project. We've made it to the national competition, with our documentary so far, but we'd like to fix it up. So far we've been using Windows Movie Maker, but we'd like to use a green screen somehow, but we don't know anything about this. If anyone could help me that would be great. Thanks.
