And you should be paying me for reading your post. After all, I had to put time and effort into it.I can see your point if you are a PROFESSIONAL Photographer, and your photos appear in a PRIVATE portfolio (your own site) and your photos are COPYWRITTTEN with appropriate LICENSING. But for any lame-o that posts their s**t to ImageShack or MySpace... I don't feel any pity for you.Get serious or get over it. You can't dabble in it and expect people to just fork over fees on their own accord.
A lot of the photos are only for non-commercial use anyway, so that shouldn't be a problem. I hope people realize non-commerical means you can't use them if your site or blog serves ads though.
When google is born there were many concerns about "text" copyright. After the "pdf" invention many fears seemed to disappear. After it was the case for "mp3" with napster. Now it is time for images: Google, Yahoo, Altavista, Alexa, Yotophoto have all powerful image search engines. Many people today search for images or movies.Tons of teenagers grab images for their Myspace page.Internet is born to share information and free stuff; the concept something to be "free" always creates confusion. Any image you get for free, you should know how is handled its copyright. More free stock photography:http://www.cepolina.com/

skyshock, he linked to CNET, not his own blog, so that's at least good. Also, he can only link to one site for his Digg headline.
