This is an awesome project. The DVDs are FREE and usually about 2 hours long each. Highly recommended. Go to a show - if you can't get to a show, get/download the DVDs and tell everyone about it. It's FREE - so there's nothing to stop you from checking it out. If you like a band, give them some support - tell people about them, go to their shows, get a t-shirt/cd/dvd.SUPPORT local & independent & original music!

Xtreme Soundscapes is an awesome project! For more than 2 years now (their 1st show was in November 2004) they have been doing a great job bringing exposure to the local, independent, underground music scene. The shows they put on are wonderful, low priced events, where you will experience talented bands and rockin' music that you won't find in the mainstream media, but which are way better than what you will get from the mainstream. They have put out 6 DVD's so far (7 will be out in April). These DVD's are always available for free at the Xtreme Soundscapes shows, and are also all available to watch and download for free on their web site. The DVD's are great to watch, very informative and entertaining, featuring interesting, eclectic interviews with bands, bands's videos, and lots of interesting and often hilarious footage. Everyone should attend the Xtreme Soundscapes shows, you'll have a great time there!
