no your an idiot for attending one of those schools, when you can get the same education at your state institution. You can't own information. Apparently your not getting your money's worth wherever you are.
if my tuition was going to giving people free diplomas/degrees then i'd be really pissed. everyone knows its not about what you learn, its about where you learn it. its sad but true.
School of Business, bleh. Videos from MIT http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/ are much better and cover things from all over the educational spectrum.Or am I the only one who thinks that the value of a School of Business degree isn't worth much anymore?
Been listening to them for a little while, and I must say, as informative as they are, they are very boring to listen to. You really have to be into it and kind of dedicated to it to comprehend everything.
just to make a point, I'm pulling 55+ (first year 60+ with bonuses) from an average undergrad finance program. and no, I won't be working 90 hours a week in NYC with Bear Stearns.and you can make as much money as you want with minimal risk - the key is how much time you put in. a lot of people bitch that it's hard to make money or do big things. there are lots of good ideas or at least people with great ideas you can meet. the latter just means you have to a) be patient and b) to befriend people and give them incentive to do what you want. it just takes work
