cnn.com — Remember Fraggle Rock from when you were a kid? It's coming back -- this time to the Big screen! "The 1980s cult hit TV show is being developed by Ahmet Zappa -- younger son of Frank Zappa -- into a full-length live-action musical fantasy starring the classic characters."

mmm, i love the smell of nastalgia in the mornin'since (according to the article) it will still be Henson's puppets and not CG (not that i'm against CG, but in this case i would have been), i'll definately be seein this.. unfortunately since (again, according to the article) the screenplay hasn't even been written yet, and they dont have any announced date for release, i'll render this as 'forgotten' cuz i just hate waiting for months/years for something to come out.in any respect, this is awesome news

I liked the rave scene in Matrix 2. It kinda reminded me of Fraggle Rock.

I am a mom who loved the show with her son. I had just finished college and my eyes were wide open for some enlightenment when this show first aired. I loved the "trash heap" and "Moggie(sp)" was sooooo coool. What a show. My son is now a 22 year old senior in college and I can't wait to tell him that some day soon, we will be able to catch the Fraggle Rock Movie together. What a gem!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I too loved Fraggle rock when I was a kid. Now I have the pleasure of sharing it with my little Daughter - who is 2.I went and bought the Fraggle DVDs and watch them with her often. Love the Fraggles. There is a guy at work; Troy - who *always* wears hawaiin shirts to work and has a sort of fluffy short mullet - I call him WEMBLEY

The only redeeming features of Fraggle Rock, for me, were the Doozers and their little edible contruction sites.

Don't forget Uncle Travelling Matt's visits to "outer space".Actually I thought it was cool that the Fraggle world was cut off from humans, they'll just fill it with ephemeral celebrity idiots.

Yet another reason why Wikipedia rules.

Pity the studio where Fraggle Rock was shot is a parking lot now. Somehow seems sacriligious. :)BTW, Mamas, don't let your children grow up to be puppeteers. They are the most twisted (in a funny way) kind of human. You'd never believe the Fraggle out-takes
