huffingtonpost.com— Among the networks and newpapers that were selected to ask Obama a question at his first press conference, one that DID NOT get the privilege stands out.

300 journalists and the only person they had there was their young embed blogger Bonney Kapp, as far as I can find. Wake me up when you have a sample size greater than 1.
Just what we need! A president with no regard for people who disagree with him, a president who punishes journalists who disagree with him by blacking them out.Oh, wait, we've already got THAT president.I understood it during the campaign. Now that he's won it's time to rectify this presidential attitude once and for all.Give us better, Barack!
Where have you been for the last 8 years? The oldest, most respected White House reporter, Helen Thomas, was completely frozen out for *years* at Bush press conferences because she had the temerity to ask a critical question about the war. Bush is the first and most obnoxious of all presidents to blatantly black out journalists and plant friendly journalists in his press conferences. However, that does NOT make it okay for Obama to do the same!
Yeah. Instead of hearing substantive questions we heard happy talk about the new first dog and derogatory remarks about Nancy Reagan. President-Elect Obama sucks ass.
oh my.. yes 1984 was what i meant, not brave new world. haha i even quoted 1984!!! - "orthodoxy is unconsciousness" - but, yes, brave new world had a similar theme...

Fox, the Republican Neocon mouthpiece is not news, its entertainment for the sheeple.

FOX is not news, just like Comedy Central or the Cartoon Channel is not news. They don't have reporters, they have people that read RNC propoganda.
