Look around. Clearly the majority of this country is backing Obama; this poll fails to capture the reality that McCain is slipping big time and is likely behind by at least ten points or more. This is a Faux News Corporation™ poll and thus I cannot trust the results, which were likely adjusted to water down the cold, hard truth that this election ought to have been over yesterday. Unfortunately, I feel and worry no matter what we do, McCain will emerge victorious by one key, controversial battleground state within which the outcome was altered by caging lists, rejection of votes and other modern-era Jim Crow mechanisms. I am predicting a McCain victory in the quintessential, fascist 52/48 or just-barely-missed it style we've grown so accustomed to seeing the last two cycles. Remember Gore won both the popular vote and the electoral college including all votes and he still couldn't get past the Supreme Court. Numerous authors incl. Greg Palast have recently blown the lid off the secret enigma that is the US electoral system, in which questionable results emerged all over the US in 2004 . People are predicting this election to go into "overtime". I'll be out there fighting to the end, and I hope you'll all join me when the McCain limousine pulls up to the capital for inauguration.
