Face it, if the whole world acted like Jesus, we'd be living in caves. Hence why Western civilization didn't develop until the Enlightenment.

@innocentsinner Jon Stewart is a comedian who exhibits greater journalistic integrity standards in presenting his humor than certain "news" organizations exhibit while presenting their "news".

Could Fox and friends grant my special wish and shoot themselves in the f**king face? Please Santa give them the aids. Yeah children should have to work for what they want in the industrial factories.

Did any of you people bother to watch the video? They were reporting on study. Talk about a knee jerk reaction. There are a few problems with the American system. Entitlement is a problem but don't blame Mr. Rogers for that. Blame the activists, blame the people that pushed for affirmative action. This grading on a bell curve idea is also nonsense. Grade the work on it's own merit and pass or fail a person based on the quality of their work regardless of how other people did.I don't think Mr. Rogers is to blame for those participation ribbons. He was trying to uplift the general self-esteem of children recognizing that life would be filled with challenges and disappointments.America has lost its way. You need to put your political parties back together where the fiscal conservatives would go back to the Republican party and the stupid rednecks would go back to be with their union loving brethren in the Democratic party. Alternatively, dump the current parties and start up a conservative party to replace the republicans and a new left of centre party to replace democrats.Right now, there is no clear choice since both the Democrats and Republicans are right of centre and both parties like to spend the tax payers money on boondoggles like there is no tomorrow. America needs a boring fiscally conservative president who is interested in doing what is best for the majority rather than worrying about special interests be they corporate or minority group "activists". More laws === more bureaucracy == publics debt.Would the gay rights activists be happy if the privileges of married heterosexual couples were limited to those with children? After all, those privileges were intended to help people who had families to raise rather than people who just wanted to live together with an official piece of paper. Rich people without children really don't need the governments money.

What a great man. Also, that tour of the Crayola factory remained the coolest thing I'd ever seen for about 10 years. I'd watch it daily if I had video of it.

@bossm4n: There is a difference between doting on your children and coddling them. When you dote on your kids, you give them a safety net that says, "No matter what happens, I'm here for you." Coddling your kids is preventing them from even going out into the world to make their own decisions. Mr. Rogers message was that self worth emanates from yourself, not from other people. All the trophies and rewards in the world don't make you a better person if you don't recognize your own self worth. In fact, kids that are super competitive often times are seeking that outside recognition of worth because no one ever taught them that.

It sounded more like they agree, just not about the whole "evil" label. They just thought that was funny.

Couldn't find the Mister Rogers version but it seems as if the footage is the same:<a class="user" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMU-wXsgyR8&amp;feature=related" rel="nofollow">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMU-wXsgyR8&amp;fea ...</a>
