As a former hemp activist I've often wondered why our country so refuses to even look into the prospect of hemp for industry. It is not the same as marijuana, much like an oak tree isn't the same as poison oak- they have similar leaves but one has THC and the other just has seeds, reeds, and other potential biofuels. Until politicians look into this source of energy I won't take their biomass fuel dreams seriously.
