fooblog2000.com — The audiophile geek's music player foobar2000 has had an aesthetic update of epic proportions; using the new PanelsUI component users can completely customise their configurations using pop-open panels, tabs and buttons; virtually all arrangements are now possible. This revolution has been encapsulated by the linked to configuration.

Inacurate? How's it inacurate? It only talks about the interface, that's it.

I love foobar :)But I cant get the album art working no matter what I do :/ any idea? Is in same dir as music as "folder.jpg", is odd as it all worked with album art plugin..

@asdfasdf I love fb2k, but, saying that "The sound quality is superior to Winamps" is BS. From the foobar2000 FAQ itself http://www.foobar2000.org/FAQ.htmlQ: Does foobar2000 sound better than other players?A: No. Most of “sound quality differences” people “hear” are placebo effect (at least with real music), as actual differences in produced sound data are below their noise floor (1 or 2 last bits in 16bit samples). Foobar2000 has sound processing features such as software resampling or 24bit output on new high-end soundcards, but most of other mainstream players are capable of doing the same by now.

solved: You cant have # anywhere in the filepath to your album art. Thus if you have music in #mp3 the music will still play but the art wont show up..

The deficiency is that for Album Art, it only reads image files from folders, not those which are embedded in audio files. So far it seems that no solution to this? I refer to the Album Art Panel for ColumnUI but it can't, too

Well, embedding album art in songs is kind of a wonky way to do things, anyway and adds useless data to every track. Give external files a try

I love foobar2000 it is my favorite player of all time even with the default mimalistic UI but I like my stuff minimal so no problem there, the only thing I have always missed is a godamn volume knob or slider of some kind.

Looks great, but I can't get the volume button to display, and it's at 0 volume so no sound. Can't even switch back to my old columns UI setup!! Pretty annoying! It seems to be missing some panels or something. hmm
