The article says the object is moving at about 80 mph - given that the image is from DigitalGlobe's QuickBird satellite, I can say (I work with QuickBird images all the time) that it is not moving at all. The QB sensor acquires Panchromatic and Multi-spectral images separately, and merging the two datasets - which is how these hi-res images are made - fast-moving objects show separation between the two pasrts of the image, with a blurred colour part and a sharper grey copy. I can't guess the height without the image metadata but it's a few metres - my guess would be a tehered balloon or some kind of advertising structure.
has anyone ever seen a water tank that is raised off the ground on a farm, Golf course or any agricultural facility, please flying car. honestly throw me a bone here
The Moller Skycar is one of the most successful and long-lasting scams in the history of mankind. It works because we all WANT it to be true. But common sense indicates that it would not work. The Moller skycar is basically an unstable helicopter. It doesn't have the wings that it would take to make it into a VTOL aircraft and it doesn't have the rear stabilizing propellor that it would take to make it into a helicopter. So the thing can only hover.http://www.downside.com/scams/moller/But it's managed to give a guy a living gathering donations from the gullible and wishful thinking.
