sun-sentinel.com — Florida's plan to give home buyers an advance on federal tax credit got off to a slow start. But now, buyers don't have to rush to meet a federal tax deadline. On Friday, President Obama signed into a law a measure that extends the deadline to April 30. If a buyer has a home under contract by April 30, they have another 60 days.
