I've always wondered why some stupid articles do well on Digg, while some great ones don't seem to rise up enough to be popular. I came across a Digg article that I thought was hilarious: http://digg.com/baseball/Bofa_D_s_releases_list_of ... but it doesn't have a lot of diggs yet. I'm guessing this flocking behavior might have something to do with it.

What's really funny is that the Wikipedia definition for Digg Effect redirects to Slashdot effect: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digg_effect
