Eh, after 7 years of a bitter unwanted war, recession, and the destruction of countless human rights and civil liberties, it's really put a damper on the whole 9/11 thing. I remember America united on that day, and America's never been more divided ever since. 9/11 is now, for me, a reminder of how screwed up this country is and how fearful, ignorant and xenophobic a large majority of it's population is. Disaster capitalism at it's finest.
Does anyone have a clip of the Daily Show after The London bombings on the 7th of July 2005? I didn't manage to watch that episode and I would like to see what he (John Stewart) had to say about it.
That's not quite the same really. Everyone has a right to take proper steps to defend themselves. Revenge and retaliation are not nor can they be defense. If someone punched you in the face you wouldn't kill them I hope.
Well if I missed the point then why don't you point out what it is? Are we somehow acting 'right' by seeking revenge? What they did was wrong. Not an excuse for us to do wrong back.If there was another point you must not have made it very clear.
