It normally takes almost loosing your life or something bad happening to your body to motivate you into caring about it. People care so much about there financial health and little about there physical and mental health.. And thats what really matters.

Assuming you're a morning person, yes. I'd just as soon get kicked in the nuts every morning.

I've been exercising regularly for a year and I still hate it. My "irresistible offer" was having cholesterol and triglycerides at a level that doesn't risk premature death. Actually I had just got finished running when I saw this article. The stuff about exercise making you more productive and mentally alert aren't complete bulls**t either, actually. I do notice a difference...but its very, very subtle.

Eating, sleeping, and going to the bathroom are lousy analogies because your body will force you to do them whether you want to or not. In many ways its the complete opposite with exercise, because your body tries to conserve energy and NOT exercising is probably the instinctive action. But you were right on about making it something you "have to do", like going to work. Just as working allows you to live in a decent house, exercise allows you to stay healthy. Not exercising is like spending more than you make - eventually it will catch up with you.

rubbing one off 4 times a day is like a 30 minute workout. Just FYI.

thats awesome- congratulations! :o) i myself just started working out pretty intensly about 3 months ago and the results are incredible.. its funny how you can begin to use (and see) muscles that you never even knew you had before! although i don't like to say how much i've lost (personal thing i guess) i'm definitely doing very well. signing up w/ a personal trainer has also been probably one of the best decisions of my life... its awesome what you can accomplish with just a little motivation! ...not to mention how much i adore him ;) keep up the good work & good luck! :)

If you have a competitive streak, it's great to have a buddy who also has one. Then you can spur each other on to workout harder, faster, stronger...wait...did I just see Steve Austin?

Even people who consistently stick to an effective health and fitness routine can sometimes fall out of the exercise habit from time to timehttp://www.bluedune.net

The most difficult to keep on track is not consistence with our goal.http://www.healthwellnessproduct.com

I used to be fit and ran regularly but stopped when I had some health problems, ironically when I was the fittest I had ever been. Now I'm trying to get back into exercise, but spend more time procrastinating about exercise than actually doing it. Just entered myself in a Half Marathon in 3 months and am spending the rest of that weekend at a posh hotel and spa. This should be the motivation I need!

Exercise should be a habit, a practice one should have for themselves on a regular basis.
