With regards to the negative Dell posts, I would have to agree about build quality. I've seen a few good ones, but most of the consumer grade Dell notebooks tend to have a cheap feel to them. I've seen a lot of cracks in cases and other battle wounds. I like Dell desktops but I am not a big fan of their notebook line. I wouldn't say they are POS, but I think myself (and probably many people here) demand a higher build quality from our notebooks. In keeping with the Apple subject here, I don't stray from the Thinkpad line but if I did it would probably be an Apple. My only concern is the Intel video and the single button for the touchpad. I know Apple traditionally had one button but they even offer two button mice with their desktops now. It's time to put those machines into the two button world...
