does anybody know how to install the .pcf files under linux? The usual font installation method doesn't work with these.

Thanks a lot! These are great! =o)Another great one is silkscreen. Not so much for actual programming, but it's great when trying to fit stuff into a tiny UI area, or to save screen real-estate:http://www.kottke.org/plus/type/silkscreen/

Sorry, but these are not so great for me, because I usually need to work with more than just ASCII.

Isn't there anyone else in the Andale Mono fan club? :-)I try every one of these programming fonts every time an article like this comes up, and I just can't find anything to replace Andale Mono.http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/corefonts/andale32.exe?download

I just installed Consolas on my Mac and I must say I prefer Monaco. *removes Consolas for licensing reasons*. You windows guys should see if you can get a copy of Monaco and see if it plays well with MS fun.
