Just re-read my previous comment and it comes across a little preachy—sorry about that. The point I was trying to make is this . . .Some have suggested that obesity is a 'lifestyle choice' or a 'self imposed' condition. And there is some merit to this position. After all, in the final analysis, it's individuals that must change and they are the only ones who can choose to do so. But unfortunately, the reality is far muddier than this. "Obese people choose to eat too much and do too little exercise. Therefore they are responsible for the health and financial consequences that follow from their choices." Granted, this is a simple and tidy position to take, that clearly defines the problem and the cause, but it doesn't map too well to reality. A person's responsibility is directly proportional to his ability to respond. And I'm convinced that many that suffer obesity have external and internal obstacles that hinder this 'ability to respond'.I'm not trying to make excuses or pass the blame. I'm just trying to point out the complexity of the issues involved and the need to look to solutions that are more useful than "choose not to be obese."cheers.
I think you're mistakenly thinking that we have a "free" market system in place. What we have is a "managed" system where government is in partnership with corporations (Corporatocracy or Fascism) in order to keep competition out or at a minimum.Everything you describe is brought about because of government caused lack of competition, not lack of government control.Get government out of the picture, take personhood away from corporations and you'll see a system that works to the advantage of the People.
Also, having just recently started my weight loss program again, I discovered that for me it took about 3 weeks of exercise and watching what I eat to start to feel more energetic and feel like it was making a difference. It's so very easy to think after two weeks "this isn't doing s**t" and give up.

Ever since the inrush of the American "Industrial Revolution", the nutritional value of the food we eat has been on the decline, even following the addition of vitamins and minerals to fortify our foods to offset the losses using artificial fertilizers.http://www.gomestic.com/Consumer-Information/Our-F ...Our Food is Quickly Loosing Its Nutritional Value

I have recently been contacted by mail by four Texas inmates. Three are on death row, and one is serving a life sentence. They all allege being the victim of jail house snitching. Two were snitched on by the same informant, and the same prosecutor is involved in all four of these cases. All four claim the case they werehttp://www.advanceddatarecovery.co.uk/http://www.easyrecovery.co.uk/http://www.rightEmail.com/Emailrighthttp://www.RishiElectronica.com/ElectronicaRishi
