It's unicode character F8FF (). It's the very last symbol in the range of unicode characters from E400-F8FF designated as a "private use area". I guess Apple's fontographers decided to put a little apple there. Not surprisingly, Microsoft's fontagraphers probably didn't. ☺There's some odd stuff in the unicode character map...♳♴♵☯☮☺☨☩☪☫☭

@ neiland i don't have any urge to buy a right-hand drive car.. i can't drag a brit TV over to the USA and expect to plug it in, no matter how shiny it is.

@ JusstinThat wasn't Apple TV. That what you saw was most likely a wireless router.

The Apple TV has a usb port that nobody knows what its for. I assumed plug in you ipod and watch (Maybe?), that or and external drive.
