I think it depends on the health of ones eyes. I've briefly used a glossy screen in a very bright lit area and while I could see every reflection, I also could focus on the display plane.Think of a picnic table, behind that is an old oak tree, behind that a green hill, and beyond that someone flying a kite. You can focus on the tree, or the person and the rest of the scene which you are not interested in blurs and takes a side seat. However some people have trouble focusing on the display plane and not the front glass of a monitor, I believe I've read this is a leading cause of eye strain. In this case the eyes would constantly be trying to focus the reflections.I have a Dell "Business" CRT monitor with anti-glare coating. It has less reflections for sure, however it is very hard to view dark images with any light in the room at all, it washes it out since the screen catches light from every angle. I happen to find that very annoying especially when pr0ning or gaming. Also a pain editing dark photos.
Isn't it just a LCD panel with LED backlighting? I'm buying a 46" samsung LED backlit soon. The prices aren't that insane. And why do they call this 'cinema'? Last time I went to the cinema, it was more like 800"

HDCP over DVI already exists. My Dell 2407WFP has it.

I think OLED technology will become the base for displays in future as it was with LCD

Such a thing does not exist, and would be very expensive to make. DVI cannot easily be converted to DisplayPort without some significant hardware.
