gizmodo.com — Walt Mossberg, David Pogue, and Ed Baig all went public their iPhone 3G reviews, which are generally positive. Mossberg says battery life dropped and Pogue says the hardware bump doesn't make it dramatically better.

why did Mossberg leave WiFi on but not connect it to a network during his tests? Is it because thats what apple does? I thought the understanding was that this drains battery life as it is searching for networks to connect to.I dunno, i keep my Edge iPhone's WiFi off when i'm not using it, and the screen brightness to Auto with slider at about 15%-20% and i get great battery life. I usually only have to recharge every 2 days. In fact, the last time i flew to Tokyo, i got a whopping 9 hours of Video viewing battery life in airplane mode and screen brightness at 20%. I'm definitely not complaining, but at the same time his review makes it difficult for me to compare battery life in the old vs. new iPhone.

I disagree.I'm buying a 3g iPhone, but will probably never buy a Mac Pro (my Intel iMac is sweet enough).

As long as the iPhone version of Safari supports Javascript, then i dont care about Flash.
