This is the most addicting pc game for me. No matter what I always come back to play it whether it be online or in skirmish missions. I hope this is nothing like Tiberian Sun which in my opinion was the worst in the series. I too would have preferred a Generals 2. As for the graphics they look amazing but the more real looking it gets the less I like it for some reason. I prefer that cartoony/real style that Generals had.
"It'll look real nice when its done!""Oh...this is hard work...."Generals was excellent. I still play it today. It takes the rock-paper-scissors formula to the extreme, but there enough units and strategies to keep anyone guessing.
I thought that Generals was a good game, even though it was a vast departure from the franchise. I was actually glad that EA released CNC The First Decade, since i only owned Red Alert 2 and my Allies disc was accidentally put in the shredder. I actually have high hopes for this game, and if they made it as good as the LOTR games, this shouldn't be as bad as most people think. Just think of this as EA bringing the game back to its roots. And if it bombs, people wont buy it, EA will "hopefully" sell the IP and Petrograph can buy it (In theory).
dead genre?... Um Warhammer? Have you even heard of Age of Empires? Where the hell have you been? Supreme Commander is coming up For God's sake's man WARCRAFT? It's traditional, just like how in FPS you will never go beyond that, an FPS will stay an FPS no matter how god damn innovative it gets, just as an RTS will stay an RTS and it will live long :) Homeworld 2 forever.

Check your calendar. E3 is two weeks away. You will be sick of product announcements once that is over

Supreme commander will be great and is being developed with widescreen monitors in mind. Finally I can justify my 24" LCD ;)
