So shows like so cool Sci-Fi shows like Surface, InVasion, Serenity, Earth the Final Conflict, Battle Star etc Get the proverbial AXE, while CRAP like this shouldn't even make it to pilot 1~~ And it gets a series. And it's not even a updated time line ( say after the 3rd one ). This is cat farts inhaled slowly through the nose until death TV for sure
So it's like this:You create a pilot that has absolutely no potential of actually atracting viewers after the second or third episode. SO you cast a good actress named Lena and pray for better. when the pilot still sucks you get young hot and semi hot cast that is the 'it' cast at the moment (possibly steal said cast from a different netweork and a different show).if that still doesn't help you throw in some Summer Glau nekkid fight.That will make people watch.Still... How many times the girl can fight while naked before she catches a cold? and will it be enough to make fox not to cancel after five episodes?Hell, I might even tune in to solve that mistery...
@ eviltakWhile, as a Hannibal purist, enjoyed Hannibal Rising, I did have my doubts. My main problem with it was that yes, Thomas Harris wrote the book, but only after the studio came to him and had him write the screenplay. Then he adapted the screenplay into a full book. Isn't that completely opposite of the way it was done before? Even now, after seeing and supporting the actual film, I am disappointed that he sold out like that.
