gizmodo.com — Besides the slick and probably expensive editing designed to make Jerry Seinfeld look like the more awkward of the pair, there's not a whole lot of special effects in this clip. In fact, there's not really a whole lot of anything, including laughs, info or pimping of Vista. It's kinda like Seinfeld's really long, really rambling Amex Superman ad

Well, unlike Apple ads, at least neither Bill or Jerry came off as douchbags.

So what if it's been 10 years. Can YOU take 10 years off without working?

Totally made no sense... I still thought it was funny though. But then again, I'm a Seinfeld fan.

Its the same reason Pepsi and Coke still make commercials. Yeah, people know what they are and have made their choice, so to speak, but you have to keep shoving it down people's throats, otherwise they might forget that they need to go buy a coke right now..In all seriousness, the commercial wasn't bad, but it didn't impress me the way "I'm a Mac" commercials always do. That was a good formula. This commercial sort of missed the mark.I think technically-savvy people might find it amusing, but I think a lot of people will fail to see the point of the commercial, and instead go to the kitchen to get a coke.

Enron got a lot of PR too. Microsoft got a lot of PR about Vista too, didn't do crap them.

Sorry Alex! I am on Kevin's side in reference to different platforms and its' settings.Vista has changed everything. Network is no longer the Internets, it is an expanded version of the old right click flying window. It is a pain in the ars to set up wifi...security may be better but, much more difficult. Eventually, I will adjust to the new Vista properties. Maybe.OK...now to the Seinfield and Gates commercials. You do know the old Trinity Western films, they get in the tub with the clothes on!
