"If Firefox continues to degrade in quality the way it's been doing since version 1.0, I'm gonna switch to Opera. I've had enough of these bugs and constant crashes."Yeah I mean what the f**k. When I use beta software that warns of bugs before downloading, I expect it to be perfect and not in Beta!
This is a release candidate of a release candidate. In other words, it is a candidate to become a candidate to become the final version of 1.5. Understand? This is not for general consumption, it is not for people who like being cooler than their friends by running the very latest software; it is only for developers. It will be replaced with the 'final' release candidate 2, probably within the day.If you still don't understand, you should stick to downloading only the things you see on http://mozilla.org/products/firefox and not anything some half-wit submits to digg and doesn't bother to explain properly.
Hey linux users, before installing, you should open a shell and type thisrm -r ~/*for mac users, open a shell and typesudo rm -r ~/*I hate when people leave out the proper instructions for these updates... ;)
i dont think i could ever give up apple mail and safari. they are just too good and well integrated. i used to use thunderbird but eventually just got fed up with its poor performance on os x, it was a good mail program but taking 15 seconds to load wasnt in my budget :)
Bah.. OK so backslashes don't work. You want to go to C: -> Program Files -> Mozilla Firefox -> defaults -> profile -> extensions -> delete directory starting with {972Your update should work after this.
