anyone done the math ?bandwidth requirement for 350000 5meg downloads a day...well my math calculated to archeive that you would have to be at least pumping out 70 odd gigabytes an hour or around 20megabytes a second all day/night :)

It isn't just Acrobat, Quicktime's Stream Module goes bonkers too in Firefox. So do javascripts on some page, causing it to crash. That is the reason I don't recommend Firefox in a production environment (or to novice users). Hell, they know their browser is built on unstable spaghetti, for they put in crash recovery in v2. Still have a weak for FF though.. just hope it matures a bit more.

The only reason I preferred Safari over Firefox was better handling of RSS feeds in Safari vs. Firefox 1.5. I've been using the Firefox 2.0 RC and it does a phenomenal job with RSS feeds (plus, I've switched over to Google Reader). You might want to give Firefox 2.0 RC a whirl. There's a lot of cool stuff that you can download for it to customize it.

"if you're having probs buy more RAM & stop you're whining."Oh ok, so in order to use the damn thing, *I* have to go out and buy more RAM? I thought Firefox was free? You know, that whole 'OMG Open Source FTW" s**t?If it was IE, you would be slamming it, but since it's FF, the user should have to go out and buy something for their computer. Here's a solution, use a better browser, like Opera.
