I've had issues similar to TheCount with FF2. Page jumbles, multiple crashes per day, etc. The only extension I use is IE Tab, and I only installed that when I got tired of the page jumbles. I really hope FF3 get those issues fixed.
Fine. How about Mozilla's logic (via http://blog.mozilla.com/faaborg/2007/11/15/the-sha ... ): "The back button is larger than the forward button. We did this for two reasons: first, it’s a really important button. We could probably ship a Web browser with just a location bar and a back button, and a lot of users would be totally fine with that. By making the back button larger we make it easier to visually target and hit, which isn’t the kind of thing you will necessarily consciously notice, but the best improvements to usability are often things you don’t consciously notice. The second reason we are interested in making the back button larger is to create a unique visual identity. This form serves as a visual cue that you are looking at Firefox 3 (lengthy discussion below)."
It looks like they put the home button on the bookmarks toolbar. That kind of sucks since I don't use the toolbar, but I do use the home button all the time.

not that buggy in my experience but extensions don't work yet (even with Nightly Tester Tools)

Well it's certainly better than IE. But that's like saying chocolate is better than a long slow kick to the balls that never ends.
