tgdaily.com— An interesting look at next-generation browsers and the technology how speed gains are achieved. I wonder what Microsoft will do?

On your same logic. Does Apple charge for safari? No. Does it work as expected? Yes. That comes with the OS but it works.Microsoft are obsessed with trying to impose their own 'standards' on people to gain market control but really just make life a pain in the ass fr those who like to use real software.
Digg is a very biased crowd. For MOST users out there all their browser needs to do is load web pages so for them it's only a race of speed and security.

It scratches an itch, but there are so many better alternatives.

And it doesn't require Leopard! Yay!

No, you only have to be a developer member. I have the free membership and I have safari 4.
