computerworld.com — Mozilla Corp. is considering adding a tool to Firefox 3.0 that would automatically block Web sites thought to harbor malicious downloads, but the company's security chief refused to spell out details, saying Mozilla is "not ready to talk about the feature."

Ok I'm sorry but how can people complain about Firefox's RAM usage? In this day and age of inexpensive RAM you have NO reason not to have at least a gig of RAM, and any self-respecting PC gamer should have 2GB. With a bit of effort you can upgrade your RAM on the cheap (pre-made PC companies love to charge as much as they can for RAM; just look at Apple) and install it yourself. The browser isn't bad because your computer sucks.

why can't they make a lean, fast, bug free browser that has all this s**t as already install extensions, that way if all you want is a fast lean browser you can disable all the extensions that it comes with.I understand why they are doing it, they want to protect the majority of their users, but i dont need it. I dont want it. Make it a pre-installed extension and ill be perfectly happy.

Firefox is like Windows. Can't think of things to add to the newer versions so it sells. FF1.5 does everything needed: view web site. Window 2000 did everything I needed: run programs.FF 2.0, 3.0 good for one thing, just just like XP and Vista: eat more ram, use more cpu, hogs more space, give nothing more.Make these features add-in? Then you would not need another version would you?

How about the browser doing what I tell it to do? If I want to go to a site, I don't really care if google thinks it's "bad" or not, I want to go there. How about doing that also because it's my computer, my resources, and using some without telling me really annoys me.
