groups.google.com— Goals of updating the interface: remove UI elements that aren't useful to majority of users - increase usability of elements that are useful - increase focus on web content

Why do people put the nav buttons on the left side? Are you left-handed? For right-handed people, the nav buttons and bookmark bar are much easier to operate quickly from the right side. You have all the buttons and the scroll bar and max-min buttons all on one side that way.Related to this, I think putting buttons on the right side of windows was one thing MS improved upon over Mac OS -- except once again for left-handed people who I'm sure like it. But then MS went and screwed up the consistency Windows had by putting the nav buttons on the left side in IE7. Now it looks like some people want the same in Firefox? What Firefox should continue to have is a customizable interface, and make it as flexible as possible. Maybe allow multiple interface setups for different users or activities to be saved.
This looks exactly like Opera to me.mtsix said:"Implemented by Opera[...]Implemented by Opera[...]Implemented by Opera[...]Not implemented by Opera because Opera doesn't have a personal bookmark toolbar."Opera does have a personal bookmark toolbar. Atleast mine does. And bookmarking something is as easy as dragging the tab to that toolbar. Whether it's your last search or your homepage. So every single one of these new FF features are in one way or another already implemented in Opera.
I forgot to disable the INVADING auto-update feature and reopening firefox I found it updated to 1.5.0.4I noticed nothing about the update, that'not the problem anyway. I open the browser and it has the following features(????????):- even if I maximize it, when I reopen it is always on his own position- the bookmark bar CANNOT be hidden. 2 less cms for my browsing. Now I'll change browser- I cannot find the older version, and I cannot find how to disable the bookmark bar (I hide it, and when I reopen it is again visible)- I lost my extensions' configurations- cannot install any search engine, and the previous ones were deleted- doesnt remember the home pageWhen will they fix this sh*tful version?

I thought the "memory leak" is a feature?

They better make it optional to remove or keep those UI features "that aren't useful to the MAJORITY of users".
