Damit it still says 1.5.1 and the FTPsite is down. I'm sure it will be back though.

The best way I've found to circumvent my own school's firewall (which also uses Bess filtering) was to use Torpark. It uses modified versions of Portable Firefox and the EFF's Tor to create an encrypted connection to the Internet. Download the self-extractor and place it on a CD or USB thumbdrive to use it from any Internet connected computer. The only problem is that it's a little buggy. Occasionally I have to re-extract it to my thumbdrive in order to get it working, but other than that, it works perfectly every time.

forget about bon echo go for FF 3.0http://digg.com/software/Firefox_3.0_Alpha_1_Already_Better_Than_Firefox_2.0_Alpha_1_or even better, switch to opera.but if you're not in the "this browser is THE best" business, you can head for a good solution: not sticking to only one browser, but using several of them to get the best of every edges.
